Step 1: Open Recipe Notes Browser
On the home screen, tap the orange + button in the bottom-right corner, then choose Search the web.
Step 2: Set Your Preferred Search Engine
We've built in many search engines for different scenarios. You can set a default search engine here to use for finding recipes.
Step 3: Search for Recipes
Type the recipe name directly in the top search bar and press enter to search.
Step 4: Browse Search Results
Browse through the search results to find the recipe you're looking for.
Step 5: Open Recipe Details
Important: You must navigate to the recipe's detail page on the website for the best import success rate. Once you're on the recipe detail page, tap the import button and wait a moment.
Step 6: Import Successful
If the import is successful, you'll be automatically taken to the recipe details page in Recipe Notes, where you can view or edit the recipe.
Using Android or the web? Tap + and choose Paste a link instead, then paste the recipe's web address. You can also pick which cookbook it's saved to — see how to save imports to a cookbook.
