How to Share Recipes with Family Using the Family Plan

Create a family in Recipe Notes and invite your loved ones to share recipes together.

Create a Family

Before you can create a family, you'll need a Recipe Notes Family entitlement. This subscription is designed for households — for just 2x the price of an individual plan, you get Pro access for up to 6 members, plus built-in family sharing.

In Settings, tap Family:

From the Family page, create your family and generate an invitation link to send to your relatives.

Share Recipes to the Family

Once your family is set up, you'll see a new Family shared category on the home screen.

To share a recipe, long press on any recipe and choose the share-to-family option from the context menu.

You can also share recipes in bulk using multi-select mode. For step-by-step instructions, see our guide on selecting multiple recipes.

View Shared Family Recipes

Tap the Family shared category to browse every recipe your family members have shared.
