Chia Limeade

A refreshing citrus drink combining tart lime juice with chia seeds for added texture and nutrition, sweetened with superfine sugar. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons black or white chia seeds
  • 2 cups fresh lime juice
  • cups superfine sugar

Cooking Instructions

    Whisk chia seeds and 5 cups water in a pitcher; let sit until seeds soften, about 10 minutes.

    Add lime juice and sugar and stir until sugar dissolves. Add more sugar to taste if sweeter limeade is desired.
