Individual Orange Cranberry Biscuits

Delicious homemade biscuits featuring the bright flavors of orange and cranberry, made with a blend of whole wheat and all-purpose flour. These tender biscuits are sweetened with brown sugar and get a tangy boost from Greek yogurt.

  • cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • cups plain 0% Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup frozen cranberries
  • ¼ cup reduced-fat (2%) milk

    1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

    3. Place the yogurt, orange juice, brown sugar, orange zest, and vanilla into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid. Select Variable 1. Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to Variable 10, then to High. Blend for 20 seconds.
