Grilled Red Pearl Onions

Sweet and tender red pearl onions grilled to perfection until they pop right out of their skins. A simple but delicious side dish that brings out the natural sweetness of these tiny onions.

  • 1 pound red pearl onions, unpeeled
  • 1 to taste Salt
  • to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare barbecue grill (medium heat). Place onions on the grill and cover. Grill until onions are very tender when pierced with a skewer, about 15 minutes. Serve with salt. To pop the onion out of its papery skin, pick it up by the root end and squeeze.
