Rob Roy

A classic cocktail made with Scotch whisky, vermouth, and Angostura bitters, garnished with a lemon twist. Similar to a Manhattan but made with Scotch instead of bourbon.

Ingredients

  • •1½ ounces Scotch
  • •1½ ounces vermouth
  • •1 dash Angostura bitters
  • •1 piece lemon twist
  • •1 cup ice cubes

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1.

    In a small cocktail pitcher combine the Scotch, the vermouth, the bitters, and 1 cup ice cubes, stir the mixture well, and strain it into a stemmed cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.
