Simple Poached Salmon

A delicate and healthy dish of salmon fillets poached in white wine with aromatics like onion, lemon and dill. Perfect for a light but satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • •1 cup water
  • •½ cup dry white wine
  • •1 slice yellow onion
  • •1 slice lemon
  • •1 sprig dill
  • •½ teaspoon salt
  • •4 fillet salmon

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1.

    Combine the water and wine in the slow cooker and heat on high for 20 to 30 minutes. Add the onion, lemon, dill, salt, and salmon.

    Cover and cook on high for about 20 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and cooked through according to taste. Serve hot or cold.
