A refreshing tropical beverage made by infusing toasted cacao beans in coconut water. This unique drink combines the subtle chocolate notes of cacao with the natural sweetness of coconut water.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cacao beans
  • 5 cups coconut water

Cooking Instructions

    In a dry small saucepan or frying pan, toast the cacao beans until browned on both sides and fragrant, 5-8 minutes. In a large pitcher, combine the cacao beans and coconut water. Cover and refrigerate for 2 days. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve (discard the cacao beans). Serve over ice.
