Ham and Cheese Muffins

- •1½ cups all purpose flour
- •1 cup whole wheat flour
- •2 teaspoons baking powder
- •1 teaspoon baking soda
- •½ teaspoon salt
- •1¼ cups buttermilk
- •2 whole eggs
- •¼ cup vegetable or canola oil
- •2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- •1 cup cheddar cheese
- •1 cup ham

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Combine the first 5 dry ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.

3. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs, oil and maple syrup and stir to combine.

4. Add the buttermilk to the egg mixture and stir.
