Asian-inspired lettuce wraps filled with seasoned ground pork, fresh vegetables, and optional peanuts. These light and flavorful hand rolls combine the crunch of fresh lettuce with savory five-spice pork and crisp vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¾ pound ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 9 leaves Bibb lettuce leaves
  • 1 whole carrot, shredded
  • 1 whole cucumber, peeled and julienned
  • ¼ cup Chopped peanuts (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons lime juice
  • ½ clove garlic
  • if desired
