Strawberry Vinegar

A refreshing homemade fruit vinegar made with fresh strawberries, white wine vinegar, and rice vinegar. Perfect for dressings, marinades, or adding a bright fruity note to beverages.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries, hulled, quartered
  • 1 cup white wine vinegar
  • ½ cup unseasoned rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 piece sieve with cheesecloth
  • 1 piece glass jar

Cooking Instructions

    Combine 1 pound strawberries, hulled, quartered, 1 cup white wine vinegar, 1/2 cup unseasoned rice vinegar, and 1/4 cup sugar in a large glass jar. Cover and chill 1-2 days. Strain through a sieve lined with cheesecloth or a coffee filter into a clean glass jar. Cover and chill.
