Brandied Fig Vanilla Pudding

Ingredients

  • tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • teaspoons vanilla extract
  • cup fig preserves
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
