Kimchi Toast

A fusion dish combining creamy cream cheese with spicy kimchi on toasted country bread, topped with a fresh cilantro-scallion salad and finished with chili oil and sesame seeds.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ¾ cup kimchi
  • 2 whole scallions
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • ½ whole lime
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 4 slices country-style bread
  • 1 tbsp chili oil and sesame seeds

    Mix cream cheese and 3/4 cup kimchi in a medium bowl.

    Toss scallions and cilantro in a small bowl to combine. Squeeze in juice from lime, season with salt, and toss again.
