Champagne-Poached Pears

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle champagne
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ whole lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon rose water
  • ½ whole vanilla bean
  • 2 large pears
  • peeled
  • slightly underripe pears

    1. Combine all the ingredients except the pears in a pot and bring to a simmer.
