Tomato & Smoked Salmon Carpaccio

An elegant appetizer featuring thin slices of smoked Nova Scotia salmon topped with fresh heirloom tomatoes, capers, and olive oil. This light and refreshing dish is perfect served with toasted artisanal bread.

Ingredients

  • ¼ pound smoked salmon
  • 2 large heirloom tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 to taste kosher salt
  • 1 to taste black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 4 slices olive or rosemary bread
  • for serving

    1. Spread the salmon slices out on a dinner plate or an oval plate (7x12 inches).
