Black-Tie Martinis
An elegant twist on the classic martini featuring crushed black peppercorns and a salt-pepper rim, garnished with a lemon twist. This sophisticated cocktail combines gin or vodka with dry vermouth and Angostura bitters for a refined drinking experience.

- •1 teaspoon black peppercorns
- •1 tablespoon dry vermouth
- •3 dashes Angostura bitters
- •1 piece lemon twist

Combine gin and peppercorns, then let stand 15 minutes.

Stir together 1/2 teaspoon finely ground pepper and 1/2 teaspoon salt on a plate. Wet rim of 1 Martini glass with your fingertip and dip in salt mixture, rotating glass to coat rim. Repeat with 2 more glasses.
