Lettuce Hearts with Shaved Hazelnuts

A light and elegant salad featuring fresh lettuce hearts drizzled with a bright lemon vinaigrette, garnished with fresh herbs and topped with delicately shaved hazelnuts.

Ingredients

  • •½ cup vegetable oil
  • •2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • •1 to taste Kosher salt
  • •4 heads Little Gem lettuce
  • •1 cup mixed herbs
  • •5 whole blanched hazelnuts

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1.

    Whisk oil and 2 tablespoons lemon juice in a medium bowl to blend. Season vinaigrette with salt and more lemon juice, if desired.

    Arrange lettuce on a serving platter; spoon vinaigrette over and garnish with herbs. Finely grate hazelnuts over.
