3-Ingredient Cheese Sauce
A quick and easy microwave cheese sauce made with sharp cheddar, evaporated milk, and cornstarch, with optional kick from Rotel tomatoes and hot sauce. Perfect for nachos, dips, or as a versatile cheese sauce.

- •8 ounces grated yellow sharp cheddar
- •1⅓ tablespoon cornstarch
- •1 cup evaporated milk
- •10 ounces Rotel diced tomatoes and green chiles
- •to taste Hot sauce

Cooking Instructions

Toss cheese and cornstarch in a medium heatproof bowl. Pour evaporated milk over and cook in microwave on high 1 minute. Whisk and continue to cook in 30-second increments, whisking in between, until melted and smooth (about 2 minutes total).
